The Stirring of EA
For centuries, the Vale of Whispers lay undisturbed, a cursed scar upon the face of Ea, echoing with the distant agony of the Sundering. Its perpetual gloom and unsettling whispers kept even the bravest souls at bay. But the tides of war have turned grimly against the Dweghom, and desperation breeds audacity.
It began with Borin Stonehand, Forge Lord of Clan Khazad. Driven by ancient lore and a desperate hope, he led a small expedition into the Vale, seeking a forgotten power – the very forge-heart of the Old Blood, a relic of primordial creation. He found it: a colossal obsidian monolith, pulsing with raw, untamed energy. It was a power that could reshape Ea, a power the Dweghom desperately needed.
But the Vale's secrets are not easily kept. The monolith's awakening sent ripples across the land, a silent call felt by all who wield power. Now, the Vale of Whispers is no longer a forgotten place, but the epicenter of a desperate, multi-faction struggle.
From their Obsidian Anvil in the south-east, the Dweghom furiously tunnel towards the monolith, seeking to rekindle their ancestral might. But they are not alone.
High in the north-west, the Spires have raised their chilling Crystalline Apex, their biomancers already dissecting the Vale's energies, eager to perfect their engineered abominations. To the east, the Nords have established the primal Raven's Roost, their warbands ready to seize the power through sheer force and blood. Along the western river, the Hundred Kingdoms have consecrated the Sanctuary of the Veiled Light, their crusaders prepared to cleanse or claim the artifact for their divine cause.
From the southern swamplands, the W'adrhŭn's Primal Maw lurks, their shamans seeking to awaken the monolith's wild spirit within their monstrous allies. In the blighted north, the Old Dominion has erected the grim Necrotic Bastion, their necromancers hungrily eyeing the Old Blood as a source of ultimate subjugation.
Overlooking the trade routes, the City States have fortified The Merchant's Vantage, keen to control the flow of resources and profit from the escalating conflict. In the western groves, the Weavers have woven The Verdant Heart, seeking to harmonize with or contain the monolith's primal energies to protect Ea's natural balance. And in the north-east ravines, the Sorcerer Kings have raised The Tyrant's Spire, their dark mages coveting the power for tyrannical dominion. Finally, nestled among ancient standing stones, the Yoroni have veiled The Shroud of Whispers, their mystics observing and subtly manipulating the chaotic flows, seeking to understand and prevent a second Sundering.
The Vale is now a crucible, a battleground where ancient power and desperate ambition collide. Each faction seeks to claim the Old Blood, to find the forgotten relics scattered across the land, and to forge their own destiny. Over the coming months, the fate of Ea will be decided in the heart of the Vale of Whispers. May the strongest, or perhaps the most cunning, prevail.

Games will be hosted in store, or on TTS if you are not local. We will do our best to pair non local people with one another or with a person in store who is capable of playing on TTS. Also keep in mind this is NARRATIVE. Its participating in the story not worrying about tabling everyone.
